Semina Mundi is a two-day generative gathering dedicated to the launch of the Italian Ecosomatic Network, conceived as a space for listening, encounter, and co-design among artists, researchers, educators, cultural practitioners, and practitioners engaged in ecosomatic arts, somatic practices, ecology, and situated body-based approaches.

The initiative emerges as a direct continuation of the processes activated through the Genius Loci – International Symposium of Ecosomatic Arts and from the collective listening carried out through evaluation and mapping questionnaires. These highlighted a strong desire for continuity, proximity, and collaboration across practices and territories, as well as the need to foster a network capable of supporting exchange, visibility, and shared project development.
Semina Mundi is not conceived as a conventional, presentation-based event, but as a participatory and embodied process, where experiential practices, moments of dialogue, thematic working tables, and activities in nature intertwine to support mutual recognition, the emergence of existing competencies, and the identification of shared priorities. The gathering aims to lay the foundations for an ecosomatic network understood as a living, plural, and situated space, capable of connecting artistic, educational, social, and ecological dimensions.
The Call invites all those interested in contributing their practices and perspectives to take part in this first foundational moment, and to participate in the collective construction of the Italian Ecosomatic Network through an approach grounded in care, reciprocity, and cultural regeneration.
The gathering is open to a maximum of 60 participants in person.
Online participation is only possible for certain sessions on March 22.
The outcome of the application and subsequent practical information will be communicated by email by February 15, 2026.
The meeting is organized by Kinesfera APS. Idea, call, and coordination: Raffaele Rufo (PhD).
The steering committee to develop the programme of the gathering is composed of: Raffaele Rufo (PhD), Gloria Desideri, Marco Adda, and Silvia Luraschi (PhD).
